Closed Joint-Stock Company Cerera Foods (before 2012-06-22 the former PALASEY CJSC) was founded in 1995. At the time import and export of foodstuffs were the main activity of the company. In 2000 the company started the new kind of activity – production of corn curls. For quality improvement and extension of the range of goods the company bought in 2005 a modern line for production of corn curls and breakfast cereals. Since then Cerera Foods is doing its best to give joy to fans of sweets and breakfast cereals with new and extremely delicious articles. Year by year sales volumes are rapidly increasing that shows extension of circle of fans of our products both in Lithuania and outside its territory.
The whole production process is performed through ascetic method. It means that human hand does not touch the product starting from feeding of raw material to the production line till packaging. Extrusion technology is used during manufacturing of products, when raw material is treated with steam under high pressure without the use of fats. Such a method allows preserving numerous useful nutrient materials, vitamins and minerals in product. Only natural raw material is used for manufacture of food products: cereal crops, fructose syrup, natural honey, condensed milk, cocoa, sugar, butter, milk chocolate, coffee, nut cream, cinnamon and vanillin. Recipes of all articles are thoroughly selected, that is why products of Cerera Foods CJSC differ in exclusive taste properties.
The company is constantly improving its work implementing safe control system of product and quality. Since 2001 Quality Management System HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is operating in enterprise. Since 2011 BRC Certificate of A level has been implemented – it is an international standard according to which only approximately 20 manufacturers of foodstuffs in Lithuania were certified. Certified manufacturers gain competitive advantage and consumers know that these foodstuffs are exclusively safe and quality because their production is strictly controlled from the suppliers of raw material till shelves in stores.
Cerera Foods CJS sales its products not only in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, but also in Russia, America, Japan, Portugal, England, Ireland, Germany, Finland, Australia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Barbados. Export sale makes approximately 80% of all sold products of the company. Number of countries into which our products are directed is increased every year. We are the member of PLMA Association („Private Label Manufactures Association“), that is why we export a big part of products with well-known trademarks. And in perspective the company is intent upon extension and enlargement of sale volume abroad in order to bring joy to more number of consumers.
